More searchers headed up Mount Hood on Tuesday, joining rescuers who had spent the night on the mountain in the hunt for three missing climbers.The weather was windy but dry Tuesday, following blizzard conditions that hampered the search the day before. Hood River County Sheriff Joe Wampler says he hopes a National Guard helicopter can join the search, although the high wind and blowing snow that have hampered the effort are expected to return soon.Wampler says about 40 searchers are on the slopes.
