CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. WTVR 鈥?Theres a club at Monacan High School in Virginia that students can really sink their teeth into. I ve always wanted to make a club, said high school senior Jack Alexander Cheatum. I feel l stanley cup ike they re very valuable for building a stronger community. And it s just a good way to meet friends. And I love food, so I wanted to tie it in somehow. The charcuterie club is a great way to meet new friends.When Jack pitched the idea to counselor Jacki Slemaker, the club stanley cup s sponsor, he told her sweet dreams are made of cheese. I thought it was only going to be a handful of kids hanging out after school. And it s kind of taken on a life of its own, said Slemaker. I was surprised too, Jack said. Just a stanley cup lot of people showed up! Nearly 100 students meet weekly for some amazing grazing. Socializing is perfectly paired with a little education.Meeting in the library, students can look up countries where certain charcuterie items originated.Jack is also learning something about himself. Membe jordan rs of the Missoula City Council discussed a potential ban on th adidas originals e sale of flavored e-cigarette products during a Wednesday meeting.Councilor af1 s said they have received support from community members, the Health Board, Providence Saint Patrick Hospital, Community Medical Center, and the Missoula County commissioners to approve the ban.If passed, all retail shops in Missoula would be prohibited from selling flavored tobacco products, including vape and e-cigarette products.Missoula City Council member Gwen Jones said that as a parent she hears what an issue vaping is for school-aged children. For people who aren t necessarily in the circle of knowing what s going on with our youth, it is huge. It is an epidemic. And I think it s high time we handled it.
